Marino Physiotherapy is looking to hire an exceptional Medical Office Assistant. This position will be working alongside the top Physical Therapists in the region.   We are looking for an outgoing, motivated, organized, hard worker to assist us in a front office role.  There is potential to grow into a larger management position to include front office, billing, and marketing based on performance, skills with marketing and leadership, and cultural fit. 

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a polite, helpful manner. Provide necessary instructions and/or directions.
• Develop congenial rapport with patients and referral sources.
• Answer phones quickly and professionally.
• Maintain strict confidentiality related to medical records and other data. Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Verify insurance coverage and patient demographics.
• Update patient information, provide necessary forms for completion.
• Use the computer system to generate information necessary for billing, including insurance and referral information.
• Collect co-pays or fees for services rendered and any past due/current balances.
• Reconcile daily charges; manage cash, checks, and bankcard payments.
• Send/receive patient medical records in accordance with HIPAA and other state and federal regulations.
• Maintain a clean, orderly waiting area.
• Work well with a Physical Therapy Team to ensure the best patient experience.
• Desire to work in a high-energy and upbeat clinic.

Qualifications

• Highly organized and professional
• Minimum of one-year work experience in a clinical practice setting
• College Degree or equivalent level of experience is required.
• Experience with insurance verification and communication required
• Be self-motivated and an eager learner.
• Initiative and adaptability, can work with minimal supervision to accomplish daily tasks.
• Is a fast learner and proficient with grammar / written communication and computer skills for MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT, Publisher, Outlook, etc), also WebPT is used daily (training provided).
• Experience in medical billing, office management, leadership roles, or medical office administration is a plus.
• Interpersonal skills and experience with client/patient relations
• Experience marketing strategies and implementations a plus

We are looking to hire a Physical Therapist Assistant with hands-on experience.

Qualified PTA applicants would:

Have a 4-year degree prior to PTA school, as well as experience or a strong interest in orthopedics
Work well with a Physical Therapist and aid in a team-based environment.
Desire to work in a high-energy and upbeat clinic is a must. Manual therapy skills are required.
Candidate is self-motivated and a lifelong learner.
The candidate must be dedicated to helping patients achieve their highest goals, but also remain focused on production and efficiency.

We are looking to hire an exceptional Physical Therapy Aide who possesses strong communication skills and works well in a team environment.

Ideal candidate:

• Has a 4-year degree in a Health Science field and is looking to return to school for a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree or a PTA degree. This is an excellent opportunity to gain tremendous outpatient experience and professional recommendations before going back to school.
• Should be willing to work for a minimum of 9-12 months.
